The task in this course was to come up with a fresh idea of a product and release it as business proposal. The only criterion for the product was that it had to be a device that would fit in your hand. We decided to present at steady and robust GPS equipped with touchscreen and an interface designed for communication with friends. We were allowed to use “upcoming” technology but not necessary implemented in of today’s devices and therefore we used a circular screen for increased stability. In the end we had a lot of time left to prepare for the final presentation, where we used new “Apple-only” software, Keynote. After a lot of work, our final slides only consisted of images (use Apple, learn by Apple) and this resulted in probably the best presentation I have ever been part of. Thanks to Dan Englesson for providing us with a 3D-modell of our product!

In a Design course at university we had to get familiar with the Adobe software and one task was to create a Flash game using the new AS3. Luckily for me, my logical thinking had increased a lot since my first project in Flash. I decided to code a simple “click’n shoot” game where the task is to kill the animals before they escape. The longer you survive into the game, the harder it gets. For each kill of a certain animal type, their internal movement speed will be increased.

Every year at campus in Norrköping, there is a tradition in making a movie called Nollephilmen. When the arrangements for the new students have ended, this film is released at a ceremonial banquet. In 2009 I was, together with my friend Anders, head-responsible for this production. What's impressive about this 20 minutes long movie is that it only took one day to record the raw material. After many hours of editing, the movie was finally done and could be shown in front of a total of 500 people. I am very satisfied with the special effects created in After Effects, especially the ones in the two minute final battle.

In a course with focus on properties of a good user interface, this was our final project. Our idea was to develop an application in Java where the user could study words from a glossary. We used the Java Swing library to handle all graphics, something that was very easy to implement. After letting some nurse students test the product, we got the suggestion to make it possible to upload images together with a word so that the memory could hopefully create a connection. Even though we only had less than two weeks for this project, we managed to release a software application with almost no bugs. However, the code is really ugly and we probably did all the "don't's" possible when coding (txt docs as database, no SVN and poor object-orientated structure). But nothing is as instructive as learning from errors and both me and my partner think we released a good looking application!

Once again my old friends needed help with editing movies. This was the first time I worked with big resolutions (1680 x 1050) in After Effects and even though I had a relative new computer the rendering times were very huge. I am very satisfied with the intro in this series, I got some good text effects and very fitting editing to the music. These was also the very last movies my old team published since they decided to step down from hardcore raiding.
